What is Rosacea?

Rosacea is a common and often misunderstood skin disease that effects over 45 million people worldwide. It affects both men and women in the middle and third of the face area causing a persistent redness over the face and nose area. Other common areas are the forehead, chin and lower half of the nose. Tiny blood vessels in the infected areas enlarge and become more visible through the skin appearing in tiny red lines, which are known as telangiectasias.
